The Human Resources Department, under the guidance and direction of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Human Resources, works to provide services to Caswell employees and applicants. Human Resources works with all departments and supervisors in qualifying applicants and providing guidance for interviewing and proper legal employment procedures. This Department provides several other services, such as Employee Relations, Workers' Compensation, Safety and Health, and Employee Benefits. Human Resources is also delegated the responsibility of managing position classifications and processing personnel action forms. Additionally, Human Resources conducts staff development training to both new employees and supervisors concerning benefits and aspects of the State Personnel Act.
